6 Style Tips to Dress If You’re Skinny

Like I would usually say, you can always look good irrespective of your body size. I understand that skinny guys would like to put on mass so that clothing could look good on you. not everyone would love to go the gym and lift weight or eat more but there’s an alternative for the sunny guys. So I would be giving you a couple tips and tricks to look better in clothing. I hope it’s helpful. Let’s get started. Layering Is Important This is should always linger your head. As a skinny guy, you would want to look fuller or thicker. Therefore, you should add more layers to your appearance. The likes of Jackets, sweaters, and shirts are all way you can practice layering, this would help your body shape to look thicker. Use Brighter Colors Use bright colors like whites, light gray or beige, it helps you look thicker. It’s basically about color and people’s perception of you based on the color that you put on. Colors like black, navy and blue often make you look extra sleek and streamlined, this will make you appear thinner. Your Sleeves Must Be Close-fitting You might have a surplus fabric, make sure your arms are going to fill the gap. Either you have muscle arms or not, it would have the same effect. So always make sure that the sleeve is tight and never lose, this ensures that your arms don’t look like twigs. Avoid Huge Accessories Wearing huge accessories will only contrast against your skinny frame and highlight it, so make sure you’re not heavy or bulky with your accessories. It’s advisable to keep off big faced watches, stacking bracelets or big rings. So, Keep your jewelry and accessories minimal and simple. Wear Shorts Under Your Jeans I know this might look weird. When you’re super skinny, it would be difficult to get the jeans or pants that fit perfectly well. So when you buy skinny or slim fit jeans, it looks like you’re wearing a classic cut. Sine, you don’t have any thigh muscles, your pant would want to fall off almost all the time. Simply wear basketball shorts under your jeans and it’ll give your pants more volume, similar to the first layering trick earlier on. Wear Thick Shoes chunky trainers are the best fit for skinny guys. It’s a known fact that shoes are the anchor to your outfit, a chunky shoe will add “hefti-ness” to your outfit and make you appear bigger. Some examples of these are Air Max 97, New Balances, certain oxfords and boots are a great option.

6 EASY TIPS TO DRESS DOWN A SUIT

Awesome. It’s safe to assume you’ve got some nice suits in your closet. You’re always on point, so no mistakes like many of us have made. You got them fitted and tailored. It’s admirable the way they look and feel on you. How about those people who don’t work in an office which requires suit and tie? Or, what if you do, and still want to get some use out of those investments off the clock? It’s actually not that hard to take the stuffiness out of a suit. To dress it down. To wear it a bit more casually. Here are tips to do just that. SKIP THE SHAVE, OR KEEP THE BEARD Sure, it can look a little… playboy? Too cool for the room? But it helps. A clean shave can look a little too clean if you’re looking to wear a suit more casually. So? Skip the razor that day (or heck for a few days) LOSE THE TIE, AND MAKE SURE YOUR COLLAR IS GREAT Wearing a suit, sans tie, can be a bit more complicated than simply unbuttoning the top button of your shirt and skipping the neck-wear. You’ll want some alloy collar stays instead of the cheap plastic ones your shirt came with. Put a bit of a bend in them. That should keep your collar at attention instead of pancaking out. Also, button placement on the shirt can be key for some (see the slightly lowered, 2nd button on the Ledbury shirt above). FAVOR BLUE SHIRTS INSTEAD OF WHITE W/ DARK SUITS White can be a little stark up against charcoal or dark navy. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. But if you’re going to dress down a normally sober, dark suit, wearing a bright white shirt can look a little like your multiple hours (and drinks) into a wedding reception, and you just lost the tie so you could really get down on the dance floor. That’s probably not a good situation for anyone. WEAR A COLORFUL/PATTERNED POCKET SQUARE Doesn’t have to be super flashy. It can be a white pocket square with a forest green or navy border. Or maybe a true blue gingham. Rule of thirds is almost always a good thing visually, no? The tie is gone here, so three things that jump out visually (pocket square, shoes, watch) a bit more than normal can really work. MIX UP YOUR FOOTWEAR Conservative dress oxfords, like the Allen Edmonds Park Avenue, are timeless. But they won’t help you dress down your suits. Put on a pair of Chelsea boots. Or some monk straps. Or hell, if it’s an unconstructed, summery suit, why not some clean white sneakers? Have a bit more fun with your footwear here. WEAR A LESS SUBTLE WATCH Leave the slim, simple dress watch on the dresser, and instead go for something with a bit more visual weight to it. That’ll help balance out that lack of tie, and also will look on point with the more interesting/less conservative shoes.

7 THINGS NEEDED TO MAKE YOU FEEL BETTER EVERYDAY

HAVE A MORNING ROUTINE This is extremely important. Endeavor to have a daily morning routine, this gives your life structure and something you can fall back on. It gives you confidence assurance that you’re in control. One of the most important morning routine for me is praying. I need to interact with my creator and thank him for his love and mercies upon my life, doing that is a major boost for me to kick start my day. EXERCISE AND KEEP FIT I cannot overemphasize the importance of exercise, it makes you mentally and physically fit. It makes you active and approaches thing positively. There are days you’re just not feeling yourself, the moment you step into the gym or do some workout, you would have clear your head and get yourself right back on track. DRESS REALLY WELL   The way you dress appeals to your inner self. Your exterior affects your interior, that’s just the fact. Either you’re on formal or casual wear, if your outlook makes you feel good, then the best thing you can do is to replicate such feeling every day. Look good as if you’re already a celebrity, clear those wears that don’t fit you or give it out then you’ll see the new turn your life will take. BE THANKFUL Don’t be an ingrate and don’t take anything you have for granted. Look back, be thankful for the journey so far and the journey ahead. Start loving the life that you live and be grateful for where you are in life. SPEND QUALITY TIME WITH YOUR LOVED ONES One of the biggest sources of happiness and fulfillment in someone’s life is being part of a family and spend quality time with them. You would all agree with me that loneliness can lead to depression, diabetes, heart attacks and even strokes. It’s safe to say social engagements can lead to a healthier lifestyle than exercising itself. So the first step in social interaction starts with family and friends. TAKE YOURSELF OUT Don’t wait for anybody before you can go out. You can take yourself to the cinema, the park or to a local cafe, go out and explore the world. You can as well go for a walk, It’s super refreshing. TOUCH A LIFE Touching a life is self-fulfilling, it can help you further connect with people. This sometimes gives you a purpose for living. Think about it, a handshake or a hug makes anyone feel good. Human interaction and touch are needed every day to feel better, and that’s a fact. Give yourself out there and add value to people’s live

The BEST Useful and Simple Tips for the iPhone X

When we get a new phone, many of us are comfortable with the little features we get to know on our phone for the 3 weeks of purchase, we don’t dig deeper to enjoy the amazing features some of this phones has to offer. We don’t fully utilize the money spent on getting this luxurious phones. A typical example is the iPhone X, there are cool features which is really helpful for better use but we mostly don’t explore them. We have compiled the best useful and simple tips for the iPhone X, we hope you find it useful. POWERING OFF OPTION This one is more so for the people who have an iPhone X. As most of you know, in order to turn off an iPhone X, you must press the “Volume Up” and “Power” Button. I’m going to give you two alternatives to turn off your phone. The first one is to go to Settings–> General–>scroll all the way down till you see “Shut Down”. The second option is even easier. Just press volume up–>volume down–>hold power button. GUIDED ACCESS This is another feature that I enjoy using and it’s one of my favorite. What guided access allows you to do is limit the privileges you give to other people when it comes to your phone. For example, when someone asks to use your phone for a phone call, they won’t be able to snoop around your phone and you also have the option to time them. To activate this, go to Settings–>General–>Accessibility–>Guided Access. Once you turn this on, you can activate it by triple-clicking the “power” button. REACHABILITY Since there is no home button like previous models, reachability might be a confusing function to perform. However, with a quick change in the settings, you should be good to go. Tap on Settings–>General–>Accessibility–>Reachability. Once you turn that on, all you have to do is swipe down from the bottom dock and all of your apps should come down. USING THE NOTCH TO SCROLL UP Like many iPhone models before this, if you were browsing the web and ended up scrolling down, a slight tap on the top of the screen should bring you back up. Many people believe that the iPhone X doesn’t have this option because of the notch. However, this is untrue and the same function can be performed. MULTI-TASK FROM HOME SCREEN For iPhone X users, if you wanted to multitask, you have to swipe up slowly to see it on your screen. Instead, try making an arch movement on the bottom left corner of the device. This is a faster and more efficient way of accessing that multi-task screen.

5 TYPES OF PANTS GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU

Not everyone wants to wear jeans or shorts. Some just want a very nice trouser to rock but picking the wrong pair of trousers could leave you cooked. So you need to understand the pants that suits you the most, but here are five types to look for, with affordable examples of each. Oxford Cloth As you can see from the name, it is made in Oxford the popular OCBD (Oxford Cloth Button Down) shirt comes in, only appropriate weight. Mostly all cotton, they’re usually relaxing and comfy, they don’t wick, or breathe quite as well as linen in suffocating heat and humidity. Great for drier climates Tech Chino (cotton/poly blend) The tech chino has been saving lives for those of us that run warm. It is made from poly/cotton blend fabrics which has been designed to breathe, reduce heat, dry faster, and absorb sweat. Some are all polyester, and thus you’ll get the “swish” sound when you walk. Others like BR’s outstanding core temp chinos are a cotton poly blend, and look and feel much more like a true all cotton chino. Lightweight Chino Majority of the cotton fabric for chinos lightened up specifically to be worn in the heat. These are not your Dad’s stiff work dockers from 1996. They might wrinkle a bit easier due to the thinner fabric, but your body will appreciate the airy crispness to the material. Fresco / Tropical Wool The best of the best of them all. Very hard to get but it’s definitely worth it. Wool is the king of all fabrics. It breathes really well, controls heat, and has anti-stink properties. This is a lean, mean, lightweight, crisp wool that almost feels cool to the touch. A bit spendy, but again… well worth it. Lightweight Chambray The hyper-lightweight, super breathable cousin to denim. Usually around the same weight as a summerweight chino, these have a bit of texture and can be crisper feeling that other summer appropriate pants. They should be noticeably lighter than a stiff, classically styled chambray workshirt. That’s not the fabric you’re looking for here.
