- SET A DAILY ROUTINE
Be focused, get something going. Something that will keep your mind and body busy all day. Allowing depression to steal your joy sucks out your energy, it makes you bitter about life, it gives you low self-esteem and makes you live each day like it’s your last day on earth. Having a structured routing keeps you motived and gives you the fighting spirit to carry on. For example, breakfast, gym, socialize, read a book, then go to bed. Search within, you would see a challenging task that you would want to complete all day long. Doing that keeps you engaged and makes you feel purposeful.
- MAKE YOURSELF HAPPY
Have you ever noticed you become upset and unhappy with yourself without knowing the cause? At times, you feel you’re not cute enough, you always look down on the amazing qualities you’ve got, you wished you’re someone else. All that has to stop now, be comfortable in your skin, be proud of yourself and see good in yourself. If that expensive watch or sneaker will make you feel happy, get your hands on it. Be in control of your happiness.
- SET A REALISTIC GOALS FOR YOURSELF
The reason why you set a goal is to achieve it. There is no better confidence boost than achieving a goal you set for yourself. When an instant boost is needed, it advisable you set a realistic goal, the one that can be achieved within a very short period of time. Just set yourself one easy goal and achieve it, not the one you wrack your brain around or the one that will get you depressed as a result not achieving it.
- FACE YOUR FEAR
Majority of us likes to run away from our fear, we like the easy way out. That moment you’re feeling down, engage yourself with that thing you fear. Some have a fear of facing the crowd, being alone or talking to girls. No matter how terrible your fear is, go out and do it. When you champion your fear, you will be courageous and fearless. This is a natural remedy to knock down your depression.
- REMOVE TOXIC PEOPLE AROUND YOU
You don’t need those who will pull you down mentally and emotionally. If there be any toxic people around you, that talk down on you every time, its high time you cut them off. When you’re depressed, they’re going to do what they do best and keep hammering at you. It’s so important you surround yourself with happy people, either your friends or family that are positive and make you happy. Your happiness is paramount.
